Jetstone

Shape and finish via drawings

At Jetstone, the configurator largely consists of visual answers: customers choose from available, grouped answers and can indicate the position of choices on an image. Popular options get a "Most chosen" badge, which helps with these technical choices.

An image based on the choices made is generated automatically, the customer receives a confirmation, and a sales quote is created in Isah.

Complex validity rules

Manufacturer of technical products

For this customer the online PCF works with the same features and options as in Isah. To support more complex rules for valid combinations, custom functions were added that the PCF recognises in the scripts.

Users start a new configuration or finish one based on a predefined EAN, and see instantly which choices are still valid. The result lands on the sales line in Isah, just like a configuration made in Isah itself.

In the online PCF, a user is guided through all the questions. Only valid questions are asked, and only valid answers are offered.

Why we do not use fixed prices

A PCF is not an off-the-shelf product: every configurator is built around your own products and rules. That is why we have no price list, but make a tailored proposal instead. This is what determines the price:

01The size of your PCFThe number of questions, answers and dependencies differs a lot per product. A short PCF is a different project from one with hundreds of rules.

02Rules and logicDo the existing validity scripts in Isah stay the basis, or are custom script functions or exceptional rules needed?

03Output and looksVisual answers, drawings, multiple languages and the result in Isah (sales line or quote) each make a difference in effort.
